JEA employs strict project management principles, including appropriate communications, until project close-out. Deliverables include equipment specifications, bid specs, contractor management, Factory Acceptance Testing, start-up, testing, and project close-out documents (SOPs, training, Preventative Maintenance plan updates, etc.).

The best practices in any discipline allow for flexibility and adaptability to the practical implementation of the standards. Project Management is no different. While our PMs are firm believers in the Project Management Institute’s PMP Certification, we know how to adapt the guidelines for project-specific needs.
